Brief: Wedding for 100 guests in a working man's club in Hackney, London.

Budget (well hardly anyone ever actually tells the caterer what their budget is - first rule of effective haggling) actually it'd save us all lots of time & energy if people did tell us. It doesnt matter if your budget is £1000 or £25,000 - chances are that you will probably want more for your money than you're ever going to get. Human nature. Sad fact, everything always costs more doesn't it? Well, we try our hardest to defy that law.

Vibe: Casual but classy. Kind of eclectic bohemian cool. Like 'Hey we're not having bangers and mash 'cos we're skint, it's cos it's cool'.

Outcome: A gorgeous selection of canapes followed by cracking bangers & mash-buffet with lovingly made onion gravy & 'good as grandmas' sherry trifle to follow.
